Leadership in Quality Award
The Leadership in Quality Award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in improving the quality of care.
Excellence in Quality Awards
Staying Healthy - awarded to an initiative focused on preventing injuries, illness and disabilities
Getting Better - awarded to an initiative focused on improving care for acute illness or injury
Living with Illness - awarded to an initiative focused on improving care and support for chronic illness and/or injury
Coping with End of Life - awarded to an initiative focused on improving the planning, care and support for life-limiting illness and bereavement
New this Year: Everyday Champion Award
The Everyday Champion Award captures the story of someone working in the health system who has improved the quality of care provided to patients, even though he or she may not have a formal leadership role in quality improvement.
After a judging panel narrows down the applications for this award to the top candidates, anyone will be able to vote online for their “Everyday Champion.”
The nomination deadline is November 9 at 2359 PST.
