Funding awards have been announced for the 2012 Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Operating Grants and for the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) 2012 Career Investigator Awards.
CIHR awarded over $3.4 million to Providence’s researchers through their Operating Grant program.
The PHC researchers who received CIHR grants are:

Project Title: Toll-like receptor anti-inflammatory response in cardiac inflammatory states
